I have to keep track of the spins. |
Talk time! |
Vinyl and more vinyl! Actually I don't have enough shelves to hold it all properly cataloged. So a lot of it lives in boxes, here,there..everywhere! |
Some really good books. "What was the first Rock and Roll Record", great reading. "Honkers and Shouters" is a classic, there is a companion book by Arnold Shaw, "The Rockin' 50's" which is very good also. "Singing Groups" by Jay Warner is a very readable listing of most of the great Group Harmony acts (Doo Wop) from the 40's through the 70's with a several paragraph writeup on each with a discography. |
Boy it gets messy at 8 track flashback HQ--the white sheets below to books are old music sheets, one for each show. I've kept all of them since 1996 when the show started |
More vinyl, LPs here |
More LPs and some 78's! |
The 8 track flashback working 45 collection. No Dean Martin in here! |
Don't have these on CD yet, so I play 'em off vinyl. |
But they are starting to get dubbed, turntable to computer |
One of the first two LPs I ever bought, around spring of 1963, also two LP cases from around 1973 when I started doing oldies on WTIK. |
